Built in 1825, the Waitsfield Inn planted roots at 5267 Main Street and almost two centuries later, is still hosting travelers in search of the quintessential Vermont experience.
Frank Giubardo purchased the inn in 2021 along with his son BJ and daughter-in-law Natasha. With a family tradition that crosses continents, hosting retreats, and managing farms and ecology centers, the family endeavors to bring a fresh touch to the Waitsfield Inn creating an Eco Bed & Breakfast retreat center.
Together they have given the Inn some much needed upgrades and renovations for a cozier, more comfortable stay. The Inn’s common areas have been renovated and given a more user-oriented theme, like the Great room transforming into the Great Game room.
While we will retain the charm and historical vibe of the Inn, our intention has been to bring a fresh and clean look to the branding of the Inn.
Our other projects connected to the Inn include the Galapagos Magic Retreat Center, Galapagos Magic Travel, Flooring Solutions Vermont, Connecticut, and Flooring Direct Kona.
We wish to gather history about the Inn; visit our If These Walls Could Talk page and leave a story behind of your stay at the Inn. We hear stories all the time from locals and guests who have been visiting the Inn from when it was the Bagatel Inn.
We love this quiet Inn when we visit family in the area.

We have also received transmissions from gone by ages… the Chicken Skin Ghost stories. We have not sensed any paranormal activity at the Inn other than the extreme good vibes and kindness of all the folks who pass through the Inn every week.
